Adult and Children's Bible Classes for All Ages
Ladies Devo – Ladies gather on the second Monday evening of each month at 7:01 pm to hear a volunteer present devotional thoughts on a topic of her choice. Volunteers also sign up to host these sessions and to coordinate refreshments. This ministry is headed by Dorla Shutt. Click HERE to see the Ladies’ Devo Schedule.
Secret Prayer Sisters – This ministry encourages participants specifically by prayer. An information sheet is given to each prayer sister so that they can pray for their prayer sister’s specific prayer requests, give gifts, send cards, etc. Prayer sisters are also encouraged to remember their prayer sister on special occasions such as birthday, anniversary, specific holidays, etc. Ideas for encouragement include cards, thoughtful notes, poems, bookmarks, candy, candles, baked goods, a book, a small gift card (to her favorite grocery store, restaurant, etc.), and anything homemade. This ministry is led by Sandy Hendrix.
Men’s Prayer Breakfast – All Men are invited to join us for our Men’s Prayer Breakfast on the third Friday of each month at 6:00 AM in the Family Center. You will enjoy a meaningful time of prayer and fellowship along with a great breakfast. This ministry is led by Artie Melton.
Men’s Bible Class – This Bible Class coincides with our Ladies Wednesday Morning Bible Class and meets in Ministry Office #6 at 9:30 AM. For more information, contact Claude Thompson.
Young Professionals Ministry
The Young Professionals Ministry has many goals we are trying to accomplish – the most important one being that of growing closer to Christ. We are a group that thrives on conversation about challenging topics, encouraging each person to participate as we all learn and study together. We are a group that strives to go to the Scriptures for everything. We are in the Bible a lot! We range in age from 18 up to 30; however, we have no boundaries. No matter your age, relationship status, background, etc., you are welcome here.
We enjoy activities outside of church together as much as possible – Ranger’s games, cook-outs, or even just a movie. This is a great group in which to build not just lasting friendships, but true friendships.
